  1. Van Pran won't make it to 122 but that would be a good draft.
  2. Who do you like not first round graded? Not necessarily sleepers. At OC) Zack Frazier--Tanor Bortonlini-- Beaux Limmer At WR) Ricky Pearsall--Roman Wilson's-- Luke McCaffrey--Ted Walker-- Johnny Wilson At OL) Patrick Paul--Roger Rosengarten--Kiran Amedgadjie--Ask Zinter At DE) Marshawn knee landmarks Isaac--Bralen Trice--No Kamara--Jonan Ellis--Jalx Hunt At DT) Brandon cudos Jenkins--Gabe Hall At) RB) Bucky Irving--Marshawn Lloyd--Blake Forum At TE) Cade Stover--Theo Johnson--Tip Reiman
  3. We have 340 million people in the country now? I thought the population was declining. ( my attempt at injecting stupid humor in a charged conversation). Oh by the way I get back on May 2_If you have any plumbing problems, I'd be glad to do free . I feel bad that you had such a stressful year. Be glad to help out a brother Bear alum.
  4. Not to get involved in a cat fight, Pix just said he had a bad game but the article was more positive than negative. You did push back on that comment. Probably to say( he had a bad game but played better in the second half would have been more clear.)
  5. Me to. Unless JJ McCarthy is on the board, I can't see anyone giving us a great trade back scenario . Maybe Rome or Bowers would blow somebody's shirt up but just to get back a third and low round future wouldn't do it for me. Seen one mock where we got pick 23 and 27 for 9 . Depending on who's on the board , maybe a Chop Robinson and JPJ would make that worth it. Then a WR and BPA with the last two picks?
  6. I would have no problem with any blue chip player we get at 9. Since we don't have control over the picks in front of us, having Rome be the pick is premature but glad to see Caleb taking an interest in who we might get. Watched a Greg Gabriel barroom video and he said he hasn't talked to Poles but two GMs from other teams that said the Bears are looking to trade back. That's a logical choice being we only have 4 picks. Of course that may depend on who's on the board. We don't know of any details so probably doesn't matter.
  7. I'm speaking in a general sense, of course some individuals picked right but as a community they had us taking Carter .
  8. I don't think anyone knows what Poles has in mind. For the last two years no-one has got it right. A surprise for me would be to move back and draft JPJ in the late teens getting two extra picks.
  9. For the trade value to work out we would have to give them pick 75. 9) + 75) for 22 + 50 + 53 I suspect we get them to throw in a 6 th round pick. ( those are low point totals).
  10. Seen where Philadelphia wants to move up and we have a connection with Cunningham . They have 22+50+53 and three 6 th round picks. Would you ? For 2 seconds, and a 6th. rounder, obviously pick 22
  11. Seems like the most logical move. We brought in many players that are in the second round range that tells me he will trade back to get a pick there. Everyone wants a blue chip, he knows if those players are probable at a lower pick.
  12. I heard he has regular conversations with the team already trying to get him up to speed with the offense. Or if was some players.
  13. Is there any .examples of this happening before? I can't think of any.
  14. . Jenkins is all pro when he plays. Averages 4 missed games a year. Nate Davis has a history of above average play. His mom died and he bombed the season. I fully expect him to get back to his usual play. He brought in Bates and Shelton that are both considered back up OGs. Are they great, no but gives better depth than last year. I think he drafts a center and depending on who will back up Bates. JPJ or Frasier may even start. So when I made that statement , it was taking in consideration of our existing roster. Our OGs are not going to suck. Now 3 #1 WRs allows the QB to get the ball out quicker so the OL doesn't have to be great. That is also one of the strength of this QB, quick decisions and quick release. A DE paired with Sweat will increase our sacks and TOs that helps any offense with field position and game changing plays. We were last in sacks last year and led the league in interceptions. Just imagine our pass rush just being average and what that produces.
  15. After be traded Fields, there was only one option where common sense comes into play. If he planned to take a different QB, he just would have kept Fields.
