Today Briggs was on ESPN's NFL Live. Im sure some of us have seen or will see the interview. From what he was saying, it sounds like he still wants to be in Chicago. But the main concern for him was a long term deal and money. Obviously he turned down a long term deal worth around 30 million or so, but why wouldnt he deserve more money? Why cant we gaurantee him 20 mil? Is that too much for what he's done?! No. He make 10+ tackles in 12 games last year! That's crazy. Right now he is playing for around 700k per year. He obviously deserves more and he should get the big buck. Now, do I agree with how he and Drew Rosenhouse are acting? No. But, I think we should invest in him long term and give him the Urlacher like money. I dont see us trading him at all, and I am assuming he will resign with us long term and play with us next season. Maybe he will sit out some camp. What do you guys think on this topic?
