THE F'ING SUPER BOWL: Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears
Brian replied to WHarris1's topic in Soldier Field
Post links. I have never read anything from Biggs saying he was leaving and wanted more money. Only article I saw was the recent one where he said he would give the Bears a discount to stay with this core. -

I'm with you. It sucks we lost and we are all pissed, and I'll be the one to say it, this was Rex's first full year and he did more at times this season than I ever thought he would. -

Gave their recievers a lot of room on the line as well. -

I'd put the inability of the defense to tackle before blaming Rex. Turner put Rex in a position to fail, so to speak. He abandoned the run at the wrong times. Everyone and their mom knew you couldn't put the game in Rex's hands until we HAD to. Down 5 with 11 mins left and moving the ball was a great opportunity to run off tackle and run the clock. That said, Rex did under throw Moose and totally missed a wide open Berrian. The stepping stones we have taken the past few years is encouraging. With Mike Brown and Tommie Harris, I would of loved our chances. Watching the replay of Harris letting Wayne run down field makes me puke. -

We have had some pressure, Manning just has the ability to recognize it and dump it off and watch our D miss tackles. -

I would of been able to accept defeat if we played well and got outplayed, hard to swallow when you play like crap on both sides of the ball and get outplayed. -

Is this the first time Grossman has played in Florida? Geez. Under throwing everyone. Not ready to dump like everyone here. Defense has put us in position to play from behind and the gameplan was garbage. Down 5 with 11 minutes left and you are moving the ball and they paniced. -
I like Rosenbloom but Salisbury is not made for sports talk radio. Goes on too many long rants and personally, he is very arrogant and annoying.

If Rex can't catch a snap, what's the point. -

Was about to post the exact same thing word for word. I don't get it. It's their own fault. Hold em on 3rd and long or 3rd down period. Stop missing tackles. Stuff you work on in the summer. -

Hold onto the friggin ball!!! Everyone! Luckily it hasn't hurt us too much yet. Pass may open up the run. -
The guy needs to get a life. Harris is preparing for the game of his life and this loser is on his case. Gimmer a break! Give him a kick in the butt. Bet it was all sarcasm.

Had a nightmare last night that I missed the game and went ballistic. It was never clear if we won or lost. -

10 days til the game and I'm a freaking nervous wreck. I cant watch any of the hype whether it is ESPN or Comcast. A week ago, I said if we lose in the Super Bowl that I would be fine with it. Screw that, I WANT THE BEARS TO WIN SO freakin BAD!!!! -

I am not a Salisbury fan, but he manned up last night on ESPN and admitted he was way off. Of course, he has a job in Chicago and needs to save face. -
AND THATS A BEARS NFC CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!

So surreal! I was in 1st grade in 85 so didn't really experience things. Unbelievable! After todays performance, we should get some respect in Miami! -
NFC Championship Game: New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears

To abandon the run this half so far, is horrible by Turner. When you throw on first down, you put the game in your QBs hands and we can't afford to do that. Than after an INC, we get stuffed and your faced with 3rd and long. Stick with the run, especially when they give us such good field position. -

Agreed. I wasn;t knocking Urlacher at all. Just showing it is a game of inches and instincts. -

-Rex missing Clark in the endzone was bad. Hopefully it will not come back to haunt us. -If Urlacher turns is head and sees Brees throwing to Colston, it's a pick. Seems our secondary is better when we go man to man and not sit in a zone.
