  1. Apparently, the Bears got him. They will be announcing it in a few hours.

EDIT - Not anymore. Bears are weighing whether or not to give Rolle the contract he wants or go after Atogwe.

  2. For the people saying Rolle is a bad fit for the Cover 2 or that Otogwe is a better fit in the cover 2, can you explain why? I really just want to know. Of course, at this rate, by the time you reply, it might be moot...

Atogwe covers more ground. He's the type of player who will do good dependent of the people you put around him. He's better at picking off QB's which is the biggest component to Lovie's defense - takeaways. His weakness is tackling though. Some people say it's a result of him trying to make the guy fumble, but other Rams' fans have told me he just tries to go for a big hit instead of simply wrapping the guy up. He's more athletic.

Rolle on the other hand depends on others around him. Have no pass rush and bad corners and eventually he'll start getting lit up like the rest of the defense. He also isn't the ballhawk that Atogwe is, but he's much more sound defensively and he's probably better at creating fumbles as well. He doesn't let too many guys pass him in the open field. He's a harder hitter than Atogwe.

  3. How can u label him a bust?

He hasn't developed a lick of blocking. He drops balls a TE should get to. And he has maybe 3 games a year where he makes you think he has potential in which he gets his numbers. The rest are duds.

  4. Rolle is pretty darn good. For the Bears, he will be better because he can ballhawk, especially if the Bears get a dominant pass rusher. We shall see though. Either way, it's a huge upgrade at the S position.

  5. Boldin is a beast. Wow, Bears fans are smoking if they think he wouldn't be anything without Fitzgerald. Maybe Fitzgerald wouldn't be anything without Boldin. The guy goes over the middle, has defenders bounce off of him like he's Jerome Bettis in his prime. He's too damn good.
