Well your statement has holes in it see Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith etc, someone can put up Payton like numbers. I was asking is Forte can do it. Walter never ran for 2,000 yards in a season in college.
Terrible logic.

It's funny how good Gould has been in the pros considering how terrible he was in college.
-
With Grossman, it's feast or famine. With Orton, it's generally all lesser famine. It all depends on what you want. Personally, I'd prefer to see Grossman as the starter, as he's got a much better arm than Orton, and I've got to believe that he'll start to check his backup options on plays someday.

Only gives me all the more reason not to buy the update this season. Having a bad Bears team (since they base things on the previous year) was enough for me but this puts it over the top. I won't have Brett Faaaaavrah's picture anywhere in my house. F him and the horse he rode in on.
I hope Madden realizes he's just written off sales in a major market. Sure, there will be a few who don't mind but I doubt they'll sell anywhere near the numbers they've sold in the past. And I'll bet most Packers fans don't even have TV's, much less Playstation 3's or XBox 360's.
This is a really stupid move.
Hilarious.
You realize that the world isn't run by Chicago Bears fans, and that, as hard as it may be for you to understand, there are fans of other teams out there. Amazingly, there are even Brett Favre fans. Hell, there are even Packer fans, believe it or not, and they do play video games just like normal people. The fact that you think that putting Brett Favre on the cover actually hurts the franchise is hilarious, and the fact that you think that Packer fans don't have TVs or gaming consoles is just sickening and sad.

There is my analyst on the selection (including the rammifications of such pick). Forte is big, strong and fast. I love this pick.
I didn't realize this was Chisoxfn. I agree with your article though, I think I like the Forte pick. Big, strong, and fast... everything we need.

Make that Tulane.
Oops, my bad. Tul was all I really heard/paid attention to
-
Thank god it wasn't Henne, but I really would have liked Brohm there.
Matt Forte, RB from Tulane was the pick

(begin rant) Personally, I hate his haircut, or lack thereof. That new floppy haircut that all the young boys are wearing looks like shit. Guys shouldn't have long hair unless they are rockers, Indians, hippies, or bums. It's just a small part of that graying of the sexual boundaries going on in our society that is demasculinizing boys. (end rant)
If you're being serious, then this is absolutely hilarious. We aren't in the 50's anymore, there's no reason guys can't have long hair if they want.
I also don't see what the big deal is about his hair. It's hair. So what?

Good god, if i see Henne putting on a Bears cap.....
It'd be terrible, especially if we waste a first rounder on him.. sigh.
-
If we waste our first rounder on Henne, I will personally fly to Chicago and punch Jerry Angelo in the face.

Member # 34 is the only thing that matters to me....
Sweetness
Lucky man.

Rex, because at least he can throw the deep ball.

Definitely Adrian Peterson should have been on there before Brian Westbrook.
My fantasy team says Adrian Peterson is a douchebag.
So I'm going to go with a 'no' on that one.
-
Wow, Urlacher didn't even get a mention. That's kind of rough, especially given the way he tore shit up near the end of the year.

The real Kevin Smith is from my hometown
This one, not so much.

No thanks.

He's lying about his personal choice, that's how. Normally, I wouldn't use the word liar unless I was trying to discredit the individual. In this case, I am, so I called him a liar. Without debating you on the usage of the word, it's my opinion. Now, you can call me a liar and say that I'm lying about my opinion OR, you could just take the phuckin post in the spirit in which it was intended. It was intended to discredit Peter King, who I think, (and I'm not lying) is a prick. I hope that explains it.
I'm all for discrediting Peter King, but calling him a liar just doesn't make any sense in this situation. Whatever, it doesn't matter, I was merely curious as to why someone would call a journalist a liar for writing his own opinion
-
He's just trying to get a column read that's all. He's a liar or just incredibly stupid if he says he'd rather have Cribbs over Hester. He just wants to spark some controversy. He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Just out of curiosity, but how could someone be a liar for making a personal choice between two people? Strange word choice
-
Peterson is a good backup, but if he's being looked at as a starter, then this team isn't doing its best to compete for the division. He just doesn't have the talent for a #1 back, but is a valuable backup and special teamer.

Last time we picked 14th we got Tommie Harris. Sounds good to me

Alex Brown is a machine when it comes to batting down passes.

College and the NFL are two different beasts all together. There are thousands of players that were awesome in college, and then absolutely nothing in the NFL. Think of literally any first round bust in the history of the NFL.
