  1. sorry, I posted this in the other thread and just cut  and paste to this one. It was meant to be typed here, blame the drugs.

Count Cali Bears in this year, and very fortunate. Not sure if I can do the live draft, when I'm thinking clearly, I'll post my keeper. 3 weeks ago, I had a tumor removed from my brain, So I'm feeling pretty good all drugged up right now off the meds. The tumor was benign, so just recovering. So if I don't reply to emails, I have a good excuse. Shoot, but might draft better now without the tumor growing in my head now, so I better make it to the draft, haha.

  3. ^^^^^dont just look at sack total production. He was not DE all the time, he was the 3 down rush specilists. He may not have gotten the sacks, but he sure as hell caused disruption in the backfield.

  4. You guys will be pleased with Jones OLB. I was kind of surprised he was pegged at IlB. He's athletic freak, and now will be showcased. Played a good amount of edge passer rusher his final season as FSU.

  5. Thats not playing devils advocate. Thats some serious "someone pissed p'd in your cereal" stuff there. Every posotion has been an upgrade. Bushrod cant stay healthy, Bennet is just a cancer and Forte as much as i loved him, could get the same production at alot less than than his price. Rome wasnt built overnight, but this has been an excellent offseason

  6. Im gonna be making a $30 league with the same scoring as the TalkBears Keeper league but with slightly different keeper rules. This is going to be the first season of the new league. If interested or you have any questions about the scoring or keepers just shoot me a pm. I already have a decent amount of interest but there should be a few spots available still.

  7. Dont worry, Ill make a post about the pay league soon. Im pretty sure everyone is returning and I already have a list of people who want into that league. For people who arent in the pay league but would like to join a $20-$25ish league I am probably going to run a few other leagues and can always use new people

If any other pay leagues, count me in

  8. Seems like a legit prospect. I have a feeling S won't be the top need unless he is too good to pass up. I am thinking CB, QB, or OLT will take the prize.

FYI...Ramsey is versatile. He can play safety or cb. This year because of depth is moving back to cb. He came to FSU Asa cb, but because he's physical freak, coaches had to get him on the field a true freshman. 2 starting cb's were draft, so he's needed at cb.

  9. You forgot to mention Cade Mcnown :drink

In my lifetime there have only been a few Pac 12(10) QBs who have come in and fared well in the NFL. Off the top of my head Dan Fouts,Troy Aikman ,John Elway, Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck come to mind and I'll throw Jim Plunkett in also even though he didn't do it with the team that drafted him. All the Kyle Bollers, Marc Sanchezes, Pat Haydens, Rob Johnsons,Rodney Peetes,Vince Evans,Matt Leinerts etc. haven't done well with Vince Evans becoming a solid backup only with his second team. Then when you factor in how well some of the other West Coast teams qbs have fared in the league it gets worse. Fresno State, SanDiego State non of these guys have done well yet they continue to have a top prospect in the draft year after year. If I was going to take a guy from that conference it would be Hunley. Let himsit for a year and then put him on the field.
  10. Haha my favorite topic. He is the ideal to play in the 3-4. Jones's last season at FSU, he played the hybrid role off the edge and just rush. FSU ran a 4-3, and still had Jones play the end on passing situations. With his size and speed, he can play anywhere and he's great in coverage. Thank you mary jane for letting Jones go undrafted and fall into the Bears lap. Only good decision Emery made :bringit
