  1. With the movement today, Poles has to consider going to get DK. He wants freak athletes, well, that's the biggest freak in the NFL. DK, Mooney, Watson in the draft, and that's a solid group for Justin to work with.

  2. Browns just cut Gordon, is he worth the trouble for a buy-low flier? Will someone pay him? To me, his drug issues scare me away and I'm sure that's what pushed the Browns over the edge. Worth the discussion, at least.

  3. Browns Release Pryor

I know many people here had interest in him at draft time. Is he worth a look? Is Jackson enough promise to not think about it? In my opinion, we have had such a hole at that position that you could never have enough competition. However, this guy couldnt stick with the Jets and Browns so that is a glaring sign haha

  4. How about Brock Osweiler...

I have been a huge supporter of Brock Osweiler since his college days. Kid has a huge NFL ready body and his arm is an absolute cannon. He is also playing behind one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and had to have learned a ton. I wish someone would give him a chance, but the Bears would be absolutely awesome. He is a buy low candidate. What's the worst that could happen with the pickup?

  5. I'm gonna tell you a story about my experience with Steve 'Mongo' McMichael. This is the honest to god truth and is a good laugh. In 2003 a few of my high school friends and I went to the Bears game in Chicago, and when we arrived we had noticed that there was a radio station stage set up. We walked up and saw that Steve McMichael was signing autographs for fans. When it was finally our turn to meet Mongo, we decided to ask him about his experience in WCW. He replied, "That %÷×+ isn't around no more, didn't you know that?" We did know this but asked if he had any cool or fun stories about his time in the WCW and he gave us this gem: "Ric Flair used to walk around the locker rooms in a trench coat and flash himself to everyone constantly. He had a &$#@ so big we called it the baby arm!" We all had a good laugh and moved along.

Fast forward to probably 2009 and my sister calls me from a sports bar in Arizona and asks me if the guy who told us the baby arm story was Steve McMichael because he was making an appearance for the bar but was alone at the bar for a little bit. I immediately said yes and told her to go ask him about the baby arm. She, without hanging up, walked over to him and said, "I'm supposed to ask you about the baby arm." To which he screams, "WHAAAAT THE HELL?!" Grabs the phone out of my sisters hand and says to me, "WHO IS THIS?! HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG RIC FLAIRS $#@& IS?!"

It was the greatest moment of my life, until later that year when I got to go to a golf charity outing and walked into the bathroom and used a urinal between Ditka and Richard Dent, whilst Rollie Fingers was in the john taking a dump.

  6. Been so long since I've posted on here but read every day. Just thought id chime in on this. I think we are better just saving the money we would spend on sproles. We have candidates in house that will return kicks and Sproles' best skill set is catching passes out of the backfield, and we have one of the best in the league in that category as well. Not to mention he is super tiny. Id pass on him for sure.

  7. I have always been a fan of Brock Osweiler (sp?) on Denver because of his size and crazy strong arm. What are the chances we could make a move to get him or a guy like Ryan Mallett from NE? I know Mallett was highly touted out of college about his arm and potential but was a moron. Id love to have Trestman groom someone like those guys. Any guys you like as a grooming project?

  8. Free agent TE Martellus Bennett will visit the Bears.

Bennett tweeted he was "proud" to be joining the Bears, before clarifying it's just his preferred destination. Regardless, the smoke is billowing, and seems primed to turn to fire. The Bears are in dire need of a tight end who can actually catch passes. Related: GiantsSource: Mike C. Wright on Twitter
