  1. For all the haters

    clicky

I don't want to go back to that.

QBs throw picks. .. he's tied with luck and brees... man those guys suck. Oh no he's not looking at photos... The media loves drama, the camera men probably get a bonus to catch Jay with a pouty look or sitting on the bench...

Be happy with who we have it could be ALOT worse.

  2. That was a moral loss If I ever saw one. Got outplayed for most of the game and still came up with a W.

One thing is for sure, the run game has to get going. They are putting too much pressure on Cutler.

No way, that's a moral win... The D played very well tonight. They had a lot of short fields and held them to a lot of 3s. With a handful of rookies. That's the 3rd mobile QB in a row.

  4. Even though this guy beat us in the SB I still love him:

"I'd like to get it over with," he says. "I really would. I'd kinda just like [Chicago Bears linebacker Brian] Urlacher or somebody to get a good clean shot and just lay me out. Kind of shake the cobwebs out. So I can get up and go, 'Yeah, OK. I'm ready now.' And at least Urlacher wouldn't use me like a footstool to get up, either." -Peyton Manning

  5. this makes me feel a lot better about the pick. You can take the dog out of the fight but not take the fight from the dog....that is a huge trait to have in the NFL. THere are som many players with all the talent in the world that would rather do enough to get by and earn a paycheck. Here's to hoping he never loses the fight.

  6. Of course not. The general manager is always wrong. Bring in a new one so we can criticize him as well.

    Peace :dabears

But thats the thing, of course any GM is going to be somewhat criticized. As of now Emery looks like the same guy we had. Stretch/Project/Players that do not fit our scheme and also a complete ineptitude to address the OLine. This is the reason there are more pessimists than optimists. I am sure we all hope most of these early rounders pan out but as of now it seems extremely questionable.

It's been 27 years since one of the most storied franchises has won a Super Bowl and since then have only been in one. There are smaller market teams like the Denver Broncos who have been to the dance 5 times in that span....

  7. I think a lot of this type of posting is those that are just waiting for an excuse to bad mouth the organization. So the team drafts a fullback (although a confusing choice) they pile on. I think it would be better to hold off on the judgement until we have an opportunity to see how this and the rest of the players pan out. After all the last I checked, none of us are in the "war room" when these choices are beig made, nor during the time leading up to it.

This is a great way to look at it. Obviously with any draft there is gonna be people who disagree. I think this one is so frustrating and we see more of it because it looks like a draft of the former GM. A lot of stretch/project players...

  8. If he gets in and is a failure, then correct. If he gets in and is a solid player...we'll take it.

That's a pretty general statement about the NFL draft...

I am saying it is laughable because he has the same speed to Hernandez and since it seems like Emery is somewhat off his rocker with "stretch" picks the optimistic assume he is going the "Patriots way"....
