I would say no. If the team that has given him 37 chances is cutting him, you know something's really really wrong this time.
-
Now with Nagy as HC, I hope:
Â
DeFilippo agrees to become OC after not getting a HC gig (too early to tell)
Â
Fangio, Nagy, and Pace work it out where he remains DC
Â
That is a threesome I would love to see
Â
Nagy is gonna be calling the plays so I don't see why that would be enticing in any capacity to DeFillipo.

I can't believe you can have the ball on the 2, run THREE passing plays and none of them go into the endzone. How embarassing.
-
I honestly wouldn't be shocked if BOTH Jordy and Cobb were cut. Clay either. None have been healthy enough or achieved much in a while.
-
He must really like it there. I bet he could get more elsewhere after the season he's had.
-
I know Cleveland is getting crap about the deal not getting submitted in time but really, they probably dodged a bullet. Is McCarron even a starter in this league? A 2nd round pick!?
-
I'm not sure what game Jeff Dickerson was watching but he referred to Glennon as "impressive"....

Really thought David Terrell would be the most disappointing Bears wideout of all time. Guess I was wrong.
-
It really didn't do much to impress nor did it leave me with anything negative. The thing that's freaking me out about Trubisky isn't him but the coaching staff.
-
Yeah if Trubisky is ready in 2018, Glennon will have gotten $19 million for one year. Definitely not a woe is me situation.

Mahomes went to KC. And they have been questioned about their choice to get him like they did. Difference is; they have Andy Reid as their coach, Alex Smith as their starter and a pretty damn good defense.
Â
Yeah everything I heard or read about KC and Mahomes was highly negative too.

McShay's latest mock at ESPN doesn't have Kizer even going in the first round. If we could snag Adams or someone at 3 and a QB like Kizer in the 2nd, that'd be pretty intriguing. Certainly would make up for these free agency fumbles.
Â
EDIT: Kiper's mock has Kizer going unselected in the first.
-
We'd be lucky to get offered a 2nd for him.
-
I don't see how the two are comparable. Jones is a downright stud at a position that's tremendously hard to find even average talent at.
-
I could see them doing it if they were really high on someone that wouldn't be there at 13 (like one of the WRs Cooper or White), but it would be for their #13 and #44, not #13 and #31.
Â
Just think, they could potentially get (Cooper/White) and still pick again in the 1st. That would be a pretty good consolation prize for losing Graham and Stills. They would have Brees with Unger anchoring their line, with Cooks and Colston + Cooper/White with Spiller/Ingram in the backfield. They added Ellerbe and Browner on defense, so pick #31 can get them another defensive starter.
Â
Yeah, 13 and 44 would be more likely.
-
They'd be crazy not to pull that one. That said, I don't see why the Saints would be down.
-
Not about what we think he's worth, he coulda probably gotten more from someone desperate like the Raiders or Jags. Something like $60mil/5 is what I'd bet he could've received.
Â
s for my post total, I've been on and off on this board since it opened. Some years I'm mad active, others not so much.
-
I'm shocked on both ends. It was smart on his end to take a little less to stay with Rodgers. But for the Packers, I thought Adams was being groomed for that role, thought they probably shoulda used that money for Cobb to shore up other areas.

Scorned us? We didn't offer him a deal. He wound up taking a shitty 1 year deal in Philly.
