  1. I was just going to make a topic on him, or a topic about the top WR's coming into this years draft. I really like this kid. He could be our Optimus Prime to Detroit's Mega-Tron. I'd take either him or Blackmon if we had the choice. My guess is Blackmon will probably be a top 5 pick after the combine and Jeffery will either slip a bit or climb depending on his workouts and 40 time. The Bears will probably screw up and go 7-9 or 8-8 or something to where we will be without of reach of either of them.. Blackmon seems like he could be a cross between a Greg Jennings or Hakeem Nicks, while Jeffery seems to be a mold of a Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Sidney Rice type (Or god forbid, the Mike Williams from USC). You can't go wrong with either of them but seeing as how we are lacking that big physical threat, Jeffery could be more valued here as someone Jay could throw to in the redzone.
  2. Translation: "We know Frank sucks at football...so our new strategy is to spread out his awfulness over longer periods of time, instead of having his ineptitude be so concentrated". Hahahaha. I don't get why they just don't cut this loser. Hasn't he proven time and time again that he's the worst offensive lineman in football?
  3. I would only sign him to play the first 3 quarters of every game.
  4. Here is our answer. http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/LeBron-...ull-pads-100511 Lol!
  5. Mike Martz's scheme calls for quarterbacks to trust their receivers to be in a certain spot at a certain time. Cutler has never showed he's comfortable in doing that. He often times pump fakes and pump fakes sitting there waiting for a receiver to get open before he throws it. When you are taking 7 step drops, its absolutely essential that you get the ball out. Warner excelled in that system because A.) He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the history of football B.) He had the offensive line that gave him enough time to let his receivers get downfield and C.) His receivers had actual NFL caliber talent and got open. Mike Shannahan got the most out of Cutler's strengths and that offense was catered perfectly to his skill set (which is probably the reason they drafted him in the first place). For a big guy, Cutler was really good at throwing outside of the pocket. Their offense featured him rolling out alot of the time as well as making him get rid of the ball quickly to his receivers and let them get YAC. In Martz's system, a quarterback isn't even allowed to call audibles which only further hinders what Cutler is able to do in a football game. It's probably the worst possible offense that you could try to fit Jay in, really. That's why I never liked the hiring of Martz to begin with. We need a coordinator that runs a West Coast offense.
  6. 3 things.. - Below average offensive line - Below average WR's - Scheme that doesn't fit Cutler's strengths or the team's personnel. Combine all of those things and you get a quarterback that has no chance to succeed. Cutler may very well be not as good as we thought he'd be but we won't really ever know until we put talent around him.
  7. Lol I was thinking about putting Julius Peppers in there to defend the jump ball. He's probably the only guy that can out jump Calvin Johnson as he's already 2-3 inches taller and every bit as athletic. But if the Lions saw that they'd probably just audible to a quick slant and Peppers isn't accustomed to defend like a DB. It's a creative thought though haha.
  8. This has a similar feeling to the 06 Monday Night Game against the Arizona Cardinals where the media was hyping up Matt Leinart like crazy. It was also the first time the Cardinals had been on MNF in however many years too I think.
  9. I think he's also on pace to break the single season record for yards from scrimmage too if he keeps it up. Pay the man!
  10. We like our guys, and we'll go from there.
  11. He came back in and played after he broke it. Shouldn't be a big deal. Lineman can play with that club thing anyways if they have too.
  12. If we beat Detroit, it will totally change my opinion of this team. But right now, we aren't looking good despite the win. Our defense looks old and slow and can't stop the run anymore nor the throw. If it weren't for a couple Carolina miscues we would have lost this game today. I thought this game was a must win but next week could decide our season. If we go down 3 games to both GB and Detroit, I have a hard time seeing us making that ground up. The one thing we have going for us is our schedule becomes super easy late in the year and Detroit has never been in the position they are in now so they might start to struggle down the stretch. Lets just beat these lucky losers. They should have two losses by now if Minnesota and Dallas didn't go into epic collapse mode in the 2nd half so people will start to overrate them a bit. If we minimize Calvin Johnson's impact and sack Matt Stafford like we did last year we will win this game. If not, we won't.
  13. Meanwhile Dallas just blew a 27-3 lead to Detroit. We need to hand them their first loss. Could be the game of the early season.
  14. That didn't even cross my mind until now. Interesting..
  15. Just an absolute disaster on defense today. We will not win against Detroit next week if that's how we are going to play. That was horrendous.
  16. What a terrible spot. Are you kidding me?!
  17. That's the 2nd wasted timeout we've had to use because our idiot play caller can't get the play into Cutler in time. It happens atleast twice ever game.
  18. Time to start tanking games. This one's over.
  19. I'm an idiot for not starting Steve Smith...
  20. And that's where a #1 receiver helps immensely. That ball should have been caught.
  21. We might actually lose this, lol. Unbelievable.
  22. Cam Newton has time to eat his lunch in the pocket. Julius Peppers and Bears pass rush is non existent.
  23. Omiyale needs to go die in a fire. I hate him.
