Kenny Britt is flaky. Darrius Heyward-Bey's hands and route-running are suspect. Hakeem Nicks was overweight and not in great shape when the Ravens worked him out Friday. In other words, the receivers are a suspect group, and a few of them we thought would be picked in the first round are going in the second.

(Massaquoi) does not have top-end speed and he has some stiffness to him. He’ll always lack top-end (speed), but he will be a very good No. 2.”

I thought it was interesting that he said Robiskie had a "low ceiling" and that he'd be a #3 WR at best. Yet he loved Massaquoi (spelling?) and said he could go as high as the Raiders early 2nd round pick and that the Bears could scoop him up.

 

Most importantly, unless there's an EXTREME run on WR's, there ought to be a pretty damn good WR available when the Bears draft at #49.

The guy doesn't do dick for three years, dropping balls left and right over that time, then AJ arrives to take on double teams every week (and STILL was the far more consistent receiver) and Mass finally has a good year with a phenom throwing him the ball. So now he deserves to go 49? I know, "it's a tossup, we don't know...crapshoot...blahblahblah," but don't tell me you can't judge a player as being worthy of a slot based on what he did over a four year college career. To me, Mass is not worth that pick even based just upon his Sr. season and postseason, tossing in the first three years makes him even less worthy of that pick.
