Demitrius Byrd from LSU. Man, it seems like something like this happens every couple years I remember when Dennis Weathersby from Oregon Stae was shot like 3 days before the draft. Hope to see him recover.

That sucks. He's one of my favorite developmental WRs in the draft. Hopefully, it IS just bumps and bruises like his mom said.

It sounds worse than that. PFT's reporting that he can "blink on command, squeeze hands, and respond to voices." That sounds pretty bad. The doctors are still saying that his injuries aren't career-threatening, but I don't know.
