For those who wanted to make a run at sydney rice, it is at least possible now.

 

 

Vikings to Tag Greenway

 

Rotoworld's reporting that the transition tag is only available for players with at least six years in the league, so Rice isn't eligible for that, either. Looks like the only way the Vikings retain him is if the new CBA makes him a restricted free agent instead of a UFA. Even then, they might not be able to do it.

    A Vikes fan I know says he's referred to as Cindy Rice up there. Supposedly the guy is soft and hurt a lot.
