Injury Report: Atlanta at Chicago
Anybody here either break their own or know someone else who has broken their collarbone? 4 weeks my ass. He is done for 8 weeks minimum unless what we're talking about is the most minute hairline injury ever.

Wow really?
This will be the third time the Bears face Matt Ryan. They have yet to sack him in their two previous contests. Am hoping that his having 2 new offensive linemen in there makes a difference. I don't have a good feeling about this game as well as season. I hope it's just butterflies that go away.

Noots' Notes: Clark and Olsen and hmm...
It is no complaint, it's something that makes you go hmm... Play the best player? Can you argue that BM was a better player? Even as a blocker? We could argue a bit on K. Davis, and getting him up to speed, etc, but at the time, Clark was the better all around player. My argument here is that Clark was the only significant threat to Olsen's reception total last year, and as a consequence, was neatly tucked away on the bench after he dropped that TD pass. As if he were a rookie who still needed to prove himself, or a malcontent who was a cancer. None of those apply to him. He was put on a shelf so the Bears could do all they could to maximize the trade value of Greg Olsen.

I loved Trent dilfuck eating crow on nfl live today
In the same token, how does Bill Cowher feel about saying we would lose out the season? And he picked us to lose before the game yesterday, too.

Noots' Notes: Preseason edition (RT)
I wasn't seeking to PREDICT who would start at RT in that post. My intent there was to state who I thought deserved the job and was best for us to win today. I still think Shaffer would do a better job than Webb is doing. Maybe they'll get Webb to turn the corner, instead of having opposing DEs turn the corner on him.
