    The Mendenhall love has already made a mockery of this draft.

     

    First of all, the trade is a bit steep. Seems like the Denver Broncos gave up a lot.

    Second, with the Broncos track record of picking up RBs late, and plugging in uknown guys, it's highly doubtful they'd go for Mendenhall that early.

    Third, the Broncos already have Travis Henry, Mike Bell, and Selvin Young. So drafting Mendenhall that early, or a RB in the first to begin with, is beyond ridiculous.

    Fourth, and probably most important, there is no way in hell that the Broncos pass up on Ellis (DT) given that they were 30th in rush defense last year.

     

    Once a pick like that is made, the balance of the rest of the draft is thrown off for a while because a team will have to go with an option that wouldn't have been their first if it actually played out realistically.

    First of all I used the draft value chart. I gave Dre Blye a 3rd round grade because I didnt think he was worth a second round grade, that is why the fourth rounder is in there.

    Secondly Parker is picking for the Broncos not you, so quit crying.

    I'm getting ready to break down & buy a TV & I'm kind of stressed on what to buy. I've read what the experts say, but I'd appreciate anytihing you guys have to offer from a first-hand experience. I've narrowed my choices down to these 2 (both from Wal Mart. I hate Wal Mart but damn they're cheap) :

    1. 47" LCD Magnavox 1080p for $1198.00 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...le131444-rLink1

    2. 50" Plasma Phillips 720p for $1397.00 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5633687

     

    I'd appreciate any advice you could give me, especially when it comes to watching football. I get 16 HD channels so I'll be able to watch most Bears games in HD.

    i was watching pros vs joes today and did you guys know Bob Sapp (MMA fighter) was a 3rd round draft pick of the bears in 97, im kinda tired so i dont feel like looking up any stats but did he play at all for the bears, or any team for that matter, and was he as big as he is now a days???

    Not really Bears related, but there's no combine thread, so...Rotoworld reports that McFadden ran a 4.33 40.

     

    The NFL.com broadcast had Mike Mayock covering the combine earlier, hopefully he was covering this. Anyone hear if he said anything about the McFadden run (since he had McFadden much lower than most, 16 overall iirc)?

    That was his 2nd run, his first was a 4.27
