Logan Mankins will likely be franchised next season (whenever that will be). Per Brad Biggs. Article also mentions that the franchise tags will stand despite the lack of CBA.

If you live outside US, you can pay for NFL Gamepass. You get all Preseason games and all regular season games + NFL Network. Of course, you have to pay extra for the playoffs and it is far from cheap. Best thing is that they archive the games during the season so you can go back and watch the games again and again if you choose to. This year they also provided the option of watching several games at the time. You can check it out here: http://gamepass.nfl.com There is a free demo, so you can check if your computer can handle it.
I have used it during the last 2 seasons, and it has simplified a lot for me. No more dodgy streams or waiting for the game to be released on the file sharing networks. It has had some problems with the load at the beginning of the season, but they have given me a refund for that and solved the problems to week 2.
A warning though, there is an auto renewal clause somewhere. You might want to opt out from that. I didn't last season (didn't see it) and they charged me with this season before I had decided to go with it.

Anderson, Brown and Izzie had similar stats if you adjust them per play. I think I read it here, but not sure. Brown slightly higher.
Of course it is an assumption, but I will argue that Anderson is a better alround DE today than 2 years ago. He doesn't flat out suck in run support for one thing!

1. No, switched for Bowman. Who was the best CB last season IMO.
4. Tim Shaw is a LB. You're thinking about Tim Jennings? Who is competing with the likes of DJ Moore and Joshua Moore for a roster spot. Can't see why this is an issue in mini camp.
5. He can't beat out Bowman at CB, so why shouldn't he be tried at other positions?
8. Anderson, Brown and Izzy had very similar stats last year with a slight edge for Brown. But Brown would cost over $10 millions over the next 2 seasons. So what is your point?

You could also argue that the tragic death of Adams lead to teams starting to do a more thorough checkup, especially of the heart. It wasn't just the Bears that missed Freeman's condition. The combine result was OK as was the Bills results.
I believe it was not a standard test for the teams to perform prior to Adams death (it should've been, especially if you see how many soccer players in Europe who suffered a similiar fate).

Other options are being researched by the Bears according to ESPN Chicago.
Bears talk to Andrews, Nesbit.
If Andrews has overcome his demons and is on track to become healthy, he's an interesting option.

Faneca will get his money from the Jets this season anyway, so any extra money is just icing on the cake. So I think if we want him for this season, money isn't the biggest issue. What other factors can we offer him?

He has Iglesias in front of him as well, but he should be able to beat out Davis. I mean, he must get cut sometime.

I read speculations that the Lions might go with a 2 TE set as their base package in order to protect Stafford better. Indicates that they'll go for Suh/McCoy rather than Okung with their first round pick.

Atogwe won't be signed before the draft. 1) Rams has one week to respond to an offer 2) He'll likely to stay unsigned until June 1st when he becomes UFA if he hasn't reached a deal with the Rams

Yes, they tendered him with an RFA tender. But if a new CBA is signed it will likely be moot if they will have the 4-year of eligibility rule as in the old CBA.
