  1. Denver and Minnesota if they fall in love with either of the 3 remaining qbs. Other than that, they will take who drops IMO.  I don't see any team trading up for defense. Not in this draft. The first D player could be a cornerback around 12.  Taking an edge without a short trade down is foolish. If anybody can find odds on the amount of offensive players drafted in the first round bet the over.

  2. Were Definitely drafting a WR, OT, or Edge. Turner is more OLB in a 3-4 than a 4-3 DE. Latu and Verse are 43 de's. It's much more likely that there isn't a WR left at 9 than there is that one falls to us. It's more likely that zero tackles are off the board than any WR being left at 9. There are 4 teams ahead of us that need a wr.

  3. Don't sleep on Latu. Medicals yes but he's healthy fir some time.  Watch his hands and shedding ability.  So superior in hand fighting to either top 3 de.  Him and verse are old though.

  4. I think poles is drafting for dollars value meaning his top picks are going to be what costs the most on the open market. Therefore the pick at nine, or second first round pick if we’re lucky enough to make a short trade back, is either an OT, DE, or WR .

  5. You gotta get an edge early. The quality of player is shit after the first 8 edges. Latu has the prettiest tape. He sheds blocks like King Kong.  (Hunt for the Caleb vs Latu tape) Verse is a Flus dude.  Im still wondering who him and Poles wanted 2 of when watching video but I'm guessing it was Verse or Turner.

  6. Poles has said this himself. I think that's why he trades his low round picks. NIL changed how people are coming out of school.

Imo, there's  2 cliffs, one around twenty than the other around 75-90 dividing this draft classs into 3 pools. Players in the 1-20 grouping, 20-90, and 90+. Players wishing the grouping are pretty much interchangeable.
