I've always had my doubts about the Benz, there just isn't enough out there to really determine if he's the goods or not. Last year his best gains came from the play of the O-line rather than his cuts IMHO. Early camp reports seemed to be great for him, so I dunno, maybe he is the goods. It just seems that he's expecting to be #1 based solely on his draft status. TJ on the other hand has done nothing but perform and if not for missing games to injury last year could've broken 1500 yards. If I'm on the team I understand the frustration of the other players...you don't take out your only bright spot in a bottom ranked offense for an unknown, especially at this point.

What's up guys, new poster here long time Bears fan from PA (hence the Nittany). Anyone read the reports of Benson being chewed out by Lovie for leaving the sidelines during the San Diego game? Apparently he was turned in by his teammates, and he's crying the blues about it. Is this just a situation of the team rallying behind T Jones, or is it a case of Benson just not being respected by his teammates? He did a lot last year to deserve the disrespect by holding out and some of the comments he made, and I can see the frustration from the team in him being handed the starting RB job just because of his contract. So if he's the proverbial square peg in the round hole for team chemistry what do you do with him? If TJ and AP tear it up and PJ Pope comes along, what are the chances for a trade? Just seems like such a terrible 1st round pick in hindsight...
