As the 3rd string QB, Hanie could have (and should have played).

All i heard was Orton doesn't get sacked barely. Well, he's gotten sacked 15 times in 8 games this year.
But, the Orton lovers continue to make excuses when he plays bad.
You give him big money, you'll be regretting it.
Look at Derek Anderson, he got big money after a career year and is now on the bench.

OK, what we're seeing on this team is what many of us have been prognosticating for a while now.
1. Rex is not as good as Orton.
They're both mediocre QB's. What part do some of you not understand?

I think just about every Bears fan was pissed when Bradley was cut. He obviously showed talent his rookie season and given our WR's no reason for him not to get a shot.
He was injured most of the time. Enough was enough with him.
But, good to see him staying healthy with KC.

It's just unbelievable how much hate Rex gets. The guy is trying. That's all you can ask.
Try sitting on your ass for almost 9 weeks without playing. Then, we'll see how good some of you hotshots are.
Whether Rex sticks in the NFL after this year, who knows.
But, i will continue to root for the guy to succeed if he does sign with another NFL team.

Gotta defend 88 a tad bit here.
Here is a post calling him out. Sure, he can handle it different, but at the same time, I think often the opposite side of his BS arguments are just as bad. I mean, many here have been for or against a player, but how often is there a thread calling us out by name? Maybe 88 deserves it, but come on. Lets not pretend he started this thread here. IMHO, the cubbie fan is just as at fault.
Bad enough his hero went down in flames, but to have to come on the board and be called out?
I don't need to know Rex sucks. I just defend the guy because of all the crap he takes.
Rex will probably be elsewhere in 09. It'd be good for him to get the hell out of Chicago.
Lets be clear here, Rex isn't my hero. I just like the guy.
This Orton vs Rex argument has gotten old. This team has bigger issues right now.
