Bears added Deonte Thompson who looks somewhat intriguing for those who aren't fans of Mariani. 4.31 speed, filled in as kick returnee for Jacoby Jones in Baltimore. If you didn't catch it on replays Callahan #37 was the player who jumped out of his lane on the opening kickoff allowing the TD. He pretty much looked like he didn't want to tackle Johnson and preferred to hide behind someone else who could make first contact. As far as I know we only kept Callahan around for special teams and he covers plays like that there was no need to keep him. Plus he was late getting down there, why were the big guys all in place before him? Good call by the coaches and GM. Good message to the team. Let's go find guys who want to do it.
