Riddle Me This StatMan (adam)

Featured Replies

was there really 4 opponent TD's each one taking less than one minute?

if i remember seeing this correctly i have never seen anything like this in 60+ years watching the nfl.

special teams? absolutely NOTHING special about them. basically gave up 10 points or more just in the first half. an onside kick in those circumstances is unforgivable.

that said, this defense may be one of the worst i have ever witnessed in a bears uniform. the pass defense and wide open zones was atrocious. stephenson looked like a dumpster fire and the other CB's were worse. brister was also sub par. our DL had no pass rush nearly throughout the game with a few exceptions. the tackling throughout was not just bad, it was REAL BAD!! if you can get 5-10 yards nearly every running play and 10 +++ yards per pass you ain't winning many games and certainly not in any playoff contention.

i admit i was so disgusted with our special teams and defense i wasn't watching closely so maybe i was wrong on the TD factor.

give us some stats on the 4 TD's StatMan.

4 TDs in 2 mins and 2 seconds total to be exact. I doubt there is another game where the team allowed 29 pts in 122 seconds.

that is an amazing stat. it has to have set a record for pathetic in NFL history.

I had some different AIs look it up and I could not find 4 TDs in one game scored that fast unless it was multiple returns, DEF TDs, etc.
