Remember Gordon was the versatile chess piece Allen singled out when he first took the job. Malik is starting to show the same traits getting looks inside and outside. Thieneman can do a little of everything. It wasn’t widely talked about but on one CB blitz from the outside not slot Devin Bush left from the middle of the field to replace the CB in coverage. He got there in time which is not something we’d ever see with Edmunds, nor Edwards for that matter. As new players are gaining experience we’re starting to see the vision for this motion defense. I don’t know what to call it but it’s the antithesis of Lovie’s cover 2. Report
