To change, all a mod would have to do is: Go to: Management -> Users and Groups -> Manage User Group -> Posting Permissions At this point there should be a check box halfway down for: "Can edit own topic title & desciption?". Change to yes. It defaults to no, so more than likely no one thought to change it. Report
