What idiots. No matter how you feel on weed or drugs, that is just plain retarded to test positive when you know you are going to be tested. I hope that number is wrong, but damn... seriously, how stupid can you be?

#1, some of these players are dumb as rocks (and even less wise, haha). You don't need a Wonderlic test to tell you that.

#2, some of them surely suffer from addiction. So drug addiction could ruin their chance at being successful? Strange, who's ever heard of such a thing?

But maybe if we all collectively laugh at them enough it will help convince others not to follow in their footsteps.

#3...some of these banned substances may have been performance enhancing substances, so there was extra reason for these guys to be taking them on the way up to the combine.

Not sure whether it is reported what the substance a player tested positive for is reported or not, but assuming it is, I would think a positive test on performance enhancing stuff would look even worse.

If a player test positive for pot (for example) a red flag is waived, but such a positive test result does not reflect on the player's performance. However, if a player tests positive for a enhancement, then I think that players entire college production can be calling into question. How can you know the player was clean in college?

And while there may be a more understandable reason why a player would take a performance enhancement prior to the combine, as opposed to smoking pot, I do not think it makes the player look any less ignorant. The player still knows he will be tested, and thus, must be stupid as hell to think he will get away with such.
