Bears | Still open to signing Burress

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Chicago Bears have not ruled out signing free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Giants). ''I can't say that it's 50-50 or anything like that,'' general manager Jerry Angelo said. ''We plan on going into training camp with what we have right now." The Bears are believed to be one of the three teams that have inquired about Burress' availability with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus

Every reported is dying for the scoop that confirms the Bears were one of those 3 teams. It's kinda comical how often the reporters are throwing the "believed to be" line out there.
