Lovie's postgame predictions...

Featured Replies

It's just the first preseason game...

We were vanilla...

Had our two top offensive weapons out...

Tommie didn't play...

Saw a lot of things I liked...

Gotta tackle better...

The secondary is a concern...

Jay's a gunslinger...

I could've written this same postgame script after the first preseason game of all the Lovie Smith seasons. They always look like shit this early in camp.

And he'll say "Of course" about 17 times in 10 minutes.

I wonder if he'll be able to predict how quickly his job security will go away if we see the same shit we've been seeing the last 2 years. Still, you have to wait until the regular season games to get all bent out of joint if we aren't playing well so I'll wait. I'll wait until GB torches our asses week 1 to start my yearly bye-bye Lovie routine. Hey, who knows, maybe they really are playing vanilla and Marinelli and Lovie don't want to show the new look d line. Or, maybe we just suck again. We'll see.

And alot of that is fair.

Plus it was Buffalo's second pre season game so that makes a huge difference.

There were some encouraging things and some disappointing things but I will be looking for improvements next game.

If Tommie Harris is not on the field automatically the Bears are vanilla. Unfortunately he is key to this defense's success.

As for your bye-bye Lovie routine thats daily not yearly.
