The defense isn't even trying. As bad as it may seem this offense is going to have to win it for us because it's pretty evident this defense can't stop anyone right now.

Here is the thing, every teams defense is not going to be on each week. Sometimes the o needs to outscore them and that is what it looks like here.

Defensive problems: All because of the absolutely non-existent pressure. Even a scrub QB can find an open WR (the other reason why the Bears need to draft a safety).

Notice I didn't scream cover-2 on that one. That was clearly a safety missing his assignment.

 

Of course, the assignments for safeties in the cover-2 are the root of a different problem.
