May 1, 201114 yr comment_90510 The Queens have had a god-awful draft, but Ballard is a steal in round #4. Yep, first pick they made where I thought "oh, that's a great value." I do think Ponder will end up being good in that Matt Hasselbeck kind of vein, but he was a need pick all over. They didn't think he was going to make it past Washington and Miami, so they reached for him. The Lions, on the other hand, had a stellar draft. Like the Bears, they've got some holes to fill in FA, but that d-line is going to be a nightmare and their offense just got a lot more explosive. Report

They did pretty well with Shaun Hill at the wheel last season, though. There was a point around mid-season where they had the highest-scoring offense in the NFC with Hill under center. Report
