Bears @ Steelers, 9/22/13

Featured Replies

Unreal how the Bears got jipped out of 2 consecutive TD runs by Bush. freakin officials... Thank jesus they finally got credit on the 3rd attempt.

no doubt and by the way like the avatar. That was a funny quote by Marty on the Jay Cutler show about Trestman being like the original Willie Wonka :P

Front four still generating no pressure whatsoever. Tucker might have to keep blitzing if it keeps working.

That is worrisome. I'm also a little concerned that we are allowing recievers to get behind our coverage, not just today but thus far. I wonder if we are trying to hard to read the QB and jump routes that we aren't fully defending the routes.

Got to love how the defense still creates those turnovers and turns them into TD's. Looked like the receiver had his head turned. Wright was there ready for it.

Another blitz that creates the turnover.

I is a thing of beauty when when there is a pick they set up blockers for a return. Not sure the receiver even knew the ball was coming.

nice no call on Dwyer leading with the helmet on that last run :shakehead

Yep. Mike Peraira agrees with you.. as do I.

Should be a 24-3 game. Walters' mental error cost the team 7 points. Offense started off so well, but then slowed way down in the 2nd quarter. The defense has been giving up huge plays, but they have also created a few themselves. The blitzing is both helping and hurting. Roethlisberger already has 142 yards on 9 completions. A lot of those on broken plays and a lack of pressure from the front 4.

I'd like to see the offense get back to what they were doing before the 2nd quarter. Cutler was making efficient passes. Forte had a few nice runs and catches to move the chains.

A stop by the defense, and a TD drive by the Bears offense to start this 3rd quarter would pretty much seal the game.

we just forced another turnover to start the 3rd. Wow, the Steelers suck. Time to bury them

It took half the Steeler's D to bring down Bennett there, the 5th guy got him.

Davis would have tackled himself and that's if he even caught the ball lol

making this crappy steelers offense look like world beaters..... :shakehead does help when you are allowed to hold. Bears D really needs to improve through 3 weeks we've not looked sharp other than the turnovers.

The offense needs to run some screens to the RB and get something going. The Steelers are just sitting on all these short routes because we haven't done anything down the field.

Dumb call there on 3rd and 1.

So sick of Chris Collingsworth deep throat of the steelers.

I agree short 1 yard on 3rd down and we go play action, hell a dump off would have been better than a double covered Marshall. We needed to run it on 3rd and 1, run behind the rookies pick up the first down and start dictating the game again... now start of the 4th they are only down 7 and have all the momentum.

This is where having a speed receiver would help in these situations.

A designed rollout with the big receivers going deep and Bennett in the middle couldn't be bad either.

we need a TD on this drive, for once it would be nice to win leading the whole way.

Looks like a TD to me

It is nice challenge and great catch by Bennett welcome back Earl
