Vikings @ Bears, 9/15/13
Man the Bears have to look at this and say they have some work to do.

This will be one of the narrowest, nail-biting wins I can remember.

Looking at going to a game
I'll add another vote for Geno's. Giordano's is a bit more publicly-known but I didn't like their sauce as much, they add too much sugar to it for my taste.

Looking at going to a game
I did a check and there is a South Shore train running after the Bears game that night that makes a stop in Michigan City, special for the Bears game. You might want to check if there are other options that do go to South Bend but Michigan City is a really good option. There is parking available at and around the stations in Michigan City, most spots free or quite cheap and your drive would be less than an hour from South Bend. It might be a slight bit slower than driving directly but leaving the parking garages after the Bears game is a mess, it took me at least a half hour just to get out of the garage from like the 2nd floor.

Looking at going to a game
First question, are you super-duper double-sure that the South Shore isn't running special trains that night? Like have you not just checked their website but also called them and asked about that date and said "the Bears are having a night game that night" on the phone call? I'd be more than a little surprised if they didn't run a post-game train.

Not all some of the same old!
Especially since McClellan was actually sorta effective, it's hard to believe that D-Line won't perform a ton better in most of its games.

Chip Kelly's Offense
The early turnovers by Washington really set things up perfectly for the Eagles to exhaust Washington's D early, they had to go out there again and again.

New Bears offense
Cutler's performance highlighted in NFL Blog QB weekly report:
-
Good as Gould
Easily the best kick I've ever seen at Soldier Field.

New Bears offense
It took a while for the offense to find a groove. They were somewhat sloppy in the first half, too many drops, and there was the usual Cutler INT, but they were really impressive in the 2nd half. They started making precision, pinpoint throws, Cutler started moving around more, the line did a good job of picking up most of the pressure and Cutler made mostly good decisions with one notable INT. In the first half they deserved some criticism, very vanilla. Looked a ton better in the 2nd.

Bears get a big win for Trestman
Game winner thread. That was a huge win for the Bears. Big 11 point comeback. Big performance in the 2nd half. That was a really good team the Bears stood up and went blow for blow with.

Same of Same Old
Huge win. I believe I will make a thread saying that

"These timeouts today, both sides, are dreadful" - announcers

Ok, that was impressive.

I see Trestman hasn't yet figured out how bad Forte is in short yardage.
-
Same of Same Old
They spread the ball around enough in the first half that finally Marshall is breaking open 1 on 1!
-
Same of Same Old
That was a real solid, strong drive.

HOLY CRAP A GOOD PLAY ON 3RD DOWN WITH CUTLER OUT OF THE POCKET ON A BLITZ

They're still in the game for now. Right now is when this newly revamped offense needs to step up and actually do something.

Its Thanksgiving in Cincy
Considering that a tillman pass interference just avoided having it be 3, I'm starting to think giving up bombs to Green is more of a trend than an accident.

They're doing a much worse job of tackling also. Obviously Lovie's elite D forgot to practice tackling in the preseason, they're really sloppy on wrapping guys up.
