William Perry fights serious illness
AGREED...

Sounds like Roach will start
If what you say is correct, the staff should realize that the injuries make Hunter a liability in such situations and therefore should get a faster man in his spot. I don't blame Hunter for being slow... I blame the coaches for putting him in when speed is needed.

Mid-season NFL awards
Thanks for the confirm...

Bum thumb to sideline Hillenmeyer
I'm with you on that. I like Hilly's attitude,etc...but he just doesn't have the physical tools and speed...

My final words on the election
Well said... I agree as well. At least, in some way, new ground will be broken with either a minority Pres. or a female VP.

Hey DrunkBomber
Thanks for the kind words! Usually I'm the laughing stock!

Blatant Racism at Palin Rally
It's no different now than it was years ago...it's just now we can see all this 24-7 and under the microscope. I'm a firm believer in the positive. But, let's not forget for every 2 steps forward (having either a minority or a female in the top 2 seats in the Oval Office) there's one step back (yahoo's and bigots...). The net result thankfully is still one step ahead...

Sounds like Roach will start
I like his prep and effort, but I just don't think he's got the physical tools and speed. I like him personally...but I'd rather have a bonafide stud in there!

Mid-season NFL awards
I think you're quite spot on... Coach - I'd go with Fisher Def POY - I'd slao go with Hayesworth...he looks to have redeemed himself after jolly stomping that (Raider?) a few years back Offensive POY - Brees easily... MVP - Brees as well here... Offensive ROY - I'd go with Matt Ryan. QB's get the props...and I think he deserves it. I like Johnson though...he's a close 2nd. Defensive ROY - I'd say Horton too...

Blatant Racism at Palin Rally
Agreed... It really seems that taking the high road doesn't seem to the MO of the moment for many politicians!

ORTON'S THE MAN?
Wow...can we put that in a headline? That you want both Rex and Orton to be gone next year! Man, talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater...

Blatant Racism at Palin Rally
Agreed. It really seems odd that they have not done so. It's beyond common-sensical...

I've never been high on Hilly... I eagerly awat waht Roach can bring to the table!

Hey DrunkBomber
All politics aside, you should stand up for your comments. Otherwise, you have no credibility.

Obama says skip work for him
I know you guys are harping on Cracker for humor's sake as he's stuck his neck out... But, let's be honest...not all Obama supporters are leeching socialists as you like believing. Kind of like not all Rep's are imperialist facists... I'm supporting Obama this time around, and I'm about as far from a socialist as you can get. Yep, he has socialist tendencies, but so does McCain... It's just that I feel Obama will rid us of less freedoms than McCain... Not to mention, his running mate isn't a buffoon.

Obama says skip work for him
I know what the perception is, but as I live in Los Angeles, this and most the state are quite left leaning... I'm surrounded by hard working people in the entertainment field that just so happen to support Obama, which I'm sure comes to no shock. These folks are not unemployed (yet...there is a potential actors strike looming) nor are students. Say what you want about the actors that make mega-millions...but the folks behind the scenes toil away for hours and hours and many don't make that much money. Yet, they do work their tails off as any other worker in any other field would. So, I know there appears to be joke that people voting for Obama don't work...in fact, people from ALL parties including Dem's, Rep's, Lib's, Green's and even Peace & Freedom work. At least those who haven't lost their jobs due to this economy that the big 2 parties brought on us all... Both are to blame...

Obama says skip work for him
There's no harm... He's not asking citizens to call in sick. If people want to use their vacations days for whatever they like, it's all fine by me. It's still a free country so far!

Lions @ Bears 11-2
I love your optimism! We can't look past this team...a divisional rival w/o a win is a dangerous team.
