That depends if you really consider the coach from Texas a good judge of talent or he wants people that fit his system more then talent. So if you look at it that way, tell me who from texas, RB or QB has really hit off in the nfl? Benson?, Simms? Ogbonnaya ? To tell ya the truth I can remember anyone from Texas really lighting it up lately. So I say the coach is more system guy then talent evalulator.

I know they kept it out of the preseason, Its something the O line from the packers will have to contend with. Any surprise given to that line will be an upside for the Bears. As for the secondary, I got a feeling they were holding players back because of that reason as well. Bowman and Tillman will start i bet and be right on cue. Thats my hope more then a bet.

Iam wondering if it because of Plank, maybe they plan on retiring it someday or Has been nominated for the hall yet. Iam wondering why the move.

What they failed to mention someone has died on the field during a football game. Chuck Hughes died while playing the Bears. I watched the game. 1971 Hughes came across on post during 2 mintue drill, He was drilled for a incompletion by Butkus. He got up after the hit and fell to the ground , Butkus alerted the Lions bench and they tried to recessitate him, He died on the field from a massive heart attack. Heart attack or Train wreck hit, it dont matter, Recievers going over the middle are more defenseless the a QB in my opinion and we wont institute those type rules on them,

I was looking at Redman for more longterm then short, Peterson will do in Pinch for sure and coupled with ST play he is valuable, But Redman has something that none of our backs... Brandon Jacobs size. He could wear out or mop up take your pick. I just liked the kid, He came outa nowhere really. UDA and scores 5 TD's in Preseason. That is saying something.

Here it is: I would like to see Redman and Shipley on that list come to Bears. Shipley kinda intrigues me.

I would agree with all But Tyree, he has been injured most of the preseason and did not appear to be getting any better, I would avoid him based on that.

Another Guy I liked was Brandon London, He played ST and did really well there, But at 6'5 214 and runs a 4.45 40 I think he would be better then Davis to be honest. at least his height would be TD time.

Redman for sure I been touting him since I read on Nfl.com they(pitt) were trying to hide him by not releasing thier cut roster. Big Runs with Suthority and would be a great Goal line and Clean up back for For the Bears. Dowling wouldnt hurt, But to be honest I saw him play here, he may have issues in wrapping guys up , for his size he appeared soft. But that was a Impression I get, I maybe wrong But he did look another McBride, but taller.

Thats a pretty big assumption, From all I read it had more to do with Money. He is effective in the passing game and can run the ball. Now that he is cut he be had for cheap on 1 year deal. But I have agree on a younger guy. I really liked the Kid at Pitt, 5 touchdowns in Preseason and ran with Authority. His name Isaac Redman. I would grab him heartbeat and its said Pitt is trying to hide him going to the PS by not releasing thier Cut list yet.

Wells is dinged up Hightower proved in the playoff run he did not have it, Lewis would be a starter on year contract and spelled wells when he gets 100%, Why I said it. Lewis could also go Denver way, No telling but I know he would want a starting job , and his agent will oblige him on that.
