I love how you never answer questions. You just come back with questions. It shows you have no answers. As to YOUR question, it's because the Packers have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Period. Add that to the fact that one of their strong suits is pass rush, and the Bears' major weakness is on the OL, then it's a recipe for a lack of success. Pretty easy to figure that one out.

I disagree here. Remember the Giants game? People were saying the same thing. Then we found out it was something serious. I'll wait to see if Cutler is injured or not before declaring his fate sealed. Even if he isn't injured, I could see people forgetting after a few decent seasons.

How in the world is Collins in the NFL?

Check back when Collins is not Collins. I don't think there is an OC in the league who can put together a successful game plan with Collins behind this OL. With one of the negatives, maybe. With both? Very unlikely. This is all on Forte's shoulders, and even Atlas shrugs.

But isn't the run precisely what you have been calling for? Talking about getting bored with this topic...and you. Try to be a little less contradictory. BTW - The packers just threw ANOTHER pass into the cover-2 gap on the hash marks just behind the LBs.

I SUMMON THE ARIZONA CARDINALS GAME!!!! That game was all defense and special teams. It's still possible!! THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!

That drive is not the same as the last drive. EVERYONE agrees that the Bears shouldn't have thrown three times with Collins (edit). That was stupid on Martz's part. But there was absolutely nothing wrong with the play-calling on the previous possession.

Which was the good one and which were the bad ones? The first and second down runs got positive yardage, and resulted in something like a 3rd and 3 or 4. Then it was a short crossing pattern to a wide open Hester who was in position to turn and get a first down. Please enlighten us, what should have been done?

I have no clue why the Bears had Collins throw three times. That's horrible. Martz has got to give him time to adjust with a run or two. Also doesn't help when he gets pressured on the first two throws, and hit on the latter. With Collins in, the Bears gotta run.

Read the post. The tampa two is a great scheme when the opponent is in deep, but otherwise it gives up gashing slants in the soft spot over and over and over. You can't refute it; you just come back with childish retorts. Which is also why you can't reply to the problems on the last offensive possession of run, run, short pass.

I notice that you didn't answer what was wrong with that last offensive drive. Your posts, are in fact, often ignorant. Meanwhile, please point out how my point was ignorant or hatred? It's true. The packers have been throwing in that deep slant gap in the cover-2 zone ALL FREAKING DAY. How is that good? Other than in deep territory, it doesn't work.

HORRIBLE call. James Jones extended his arm. All Jennings did was put his arm out against the WR who was trying to create space. Wow. The packers don't need help in this game.

Gotta love that defensive scheme. Gives up the easy pass in the zone (tampa-2) again and again. When all three LBs are bailing on the snap, it's not good. Two in a row.

What did Martz do wrong on that drive!? You're hatred is ignorant sometimes. Run, run, short pass. That is the EXACT recipe you've been asking for! That is PRECISELY what is needed when an OL is playing like garbage and the QB is throwing inaccurately. Cutler made a bad throw. Period.

If that is true, the season is over. HOWEVER, I haven't heard it at all on TV...so I doubt it. Those sideline vultures are all over stuff like that.

I must have missed the plays with the running lanes. There was one that I saw, and it was the draw for a first down that caught the packers off-guard. I'd say the passing game is more of a mixed bag. The OL's protection has been bad, but not atrocious. And Cutler's accuracy has been bad when he's had some time.

NEGATIVE I'd say the Bears would get a D or an F for the first half. -Offensive Play calling: D -Defensive Play calling: C- -QB play: D -OL play: F -RB play: C+ -WR play: C POSITIVE -The Packers are only up 14-0 -The Bears offense has moved the ball somewhat. -The Bears get the ball first in the second half. I have not lost hope. But some serious changes need to happen.

When the former director of officiating for the NFL sees an instant replay, and thinks that it should be an incompletion, and the instant replay shows NOT ONLY the ball hitting the ground between the DB's hands, but also showing it move, thne how the hell does the interception stand? I thought it was an INT, but after the replay I was positive that it was an incompletion.

Well, so much for that. Poorly throw pass. I like the one-on-one opportunity for Knox, but the ball has to be deeper and over the back shoulder.

HUGE break for the Bears on a freak play. Off the WRs foot. Gotta get points here.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears, 1/23/11
Please read my shit before making stupid comments. He has made ONE stupid throw. The kind that people give him grief about. ONE. His accuracy to Hester is something else. He simply missed some throws. But they weren't bad decisions.

Dude, it was 3rd and 7. What play should have been called? The packers knew it was a pass, everyone knew it was a pass. The packers just happened to send a blitz through a massive hole in protection. Looked like Cutler went from one read to another, and by the time he got to the second guy, he got hit.

Yet another protection breakdown. Surprise.

I've actually only seen Cutler make one stupid throw...the one that Olsen just knocked down. Other than that, he's played smartly. Accuracy to Hester? That's another issue. As for Martz, it looks like the second quarter has had a lot more protection in there. Successful? Not so much. I would say, however, that he's not calling a great game. I'd like more short routes, slants...ya know...like the Packers are murdering the Bears with. The one thing that is without contention is that the OL is playing horribly, as usual. Even when Martz dials up something that looks promising, the OL has continually jacked it up.

Risky throw by Cutler. Horrible effort by the OL.
