  1. It's clear that winning a Super Bowl isn't as important to him as getting a big payday. Let the jerk off go. His attitude in the article that was linked above is just not right.
  2. Our defense looked like it was playing in the Pro-Bowl.
  3. Yeah and next year is a contract year for him as well. I don't think that Grossman should be anointed the starter automatically. He should not be the starter until it's determined he is the best QB the Bears have. I would personally like to see Garcia leading the Bears next year instead of Rex but that isn't likely since "Rex is our quarterback." He completed plenty to the Colts and could have given them at least 1 or maybe two more if the Colts weren't "respecting" him so much. Right but before that (1986) when was the last time the Bears went? It hadn't been during the modern Super Bowl era (any of the other 41 Super Bowls) and yet, they won that Super Bowl pretty easily. When was the last time the Colts went to the SB? They seemed to know what to do last night. If the QB can't keep the offense on the field, how do you blame the defense for being tired? This one should hang out the offensive play of Grossman. Wouldn't have been nice that if every play on offense consisted of the opposing team kicking the ball to Hester for each down? Just kidding of course but at least we would have moved forward on the field.
  4. What's interesting is that Rivera isn't being leaked as a possible replacement. Does Jones have the nuts to employ Rivera as the Cowboys HC?
  5. I thought I would look around at different websites about the upcoming SB and see what different site had to say about the Bears and I found this. From CNNSI.com Does anyone think there is any truth to this obvious rumor?
  6. With Rex, we haven't gotten anywhere. I am not saying that Griese is the answer. I am saying that no matter how good we want our team to be, they aren't. We will be lucky if they aren't "one and done." I love the Bears but their stubbornness to anoint Rex the next great NFL QB is driving me mad!
  7. Does anyone have a video of Hester's run back or know where to find one on the web? I have searched but I must not know how to find it.
  8. In the suburbs, right outside of O'Hare, Shoeless Joe's is till as good as any place to watch a Bears game.
  9. I was thinking about how the '85 Bears made the Super Bowl Shuffle back when they were as dominant as these Bears. I also thought about R Dub did his little rap thing back in 2001 (or 2003, it was pretty forgettable anyway) (?) and how stupid it seemed then. I can't help but think that the marketing department for the Bears might have something in mind to make today's Bears try to be the next great boy band. My plea is to let their actions on the field speak for them and keep them out of the recording studio. I don't want the Super Bowl Shuffle - Part II or anything like it to emerge from this years team. They deserve to be historically remembered for their physical achievements on the field and not their musical ones off of it.
  10. I don't understand the "love affair" with Grossman. He has been with the team for 3 year now, he has started very few games because he is as fragile as they come at the QB position. I think he has a hard time seeing the field the way an NFL QB should. He is unproven and by far one of the lower rated QB's in the NFL. I understand we will win games because of our defense but I would like to see our offense be able to do more than just go through the motions.
