That seemed to be the gameplan against the Jets and it worked out ok. It seriously just feels like 'corpseball' all over again, with them falling in love with the deep ball and not being able to do anything productive on offense.

The Bears were the #2 seed in the NFC last year with a rookie 4th round QB starting most of the games. Many people thought the Bears would make at least the NFC championship game last year. Expectations were/ are very high.

How many were on the goalline though? It's hard to run for more than 3 yards if you're on the 5 with 8+ guys in the box looking for the run. But I agree with you in general in that Jones does not suck.
