  1. We don't need another midget. We need a taller more physical receiver like a Vincent Jackson or the guy I want, Sidney Rice.
  2. Carl Knicks and Sidney Rice.
  3. I don't know anything about this guy but I'm glad they atleast attempted to draft a OLB, which was actually a position of need in this draft. Not like the QB and Safety selections.. Hope this JT Thomas can work his way into being a solid starter for us, or at the very least a special teams ace.
  4. Only if the Bears go out in FA and get a #1 WR and a starting Guard will I be comfortable with this draft overall. But It would not surprise me if the Bears didn't address any of those needs. They are the Bears.
  5. At what point will he be cut? Week 2 or 3 of the preseason?
  6. LMAO, I'm not watching the draft next year.. I can't take this.
  7. 3/13/11: Stephen Burton had one of the most impressive Pro Day performances thus far in this draft season. Burton ran a 4.38 at 6-1, 224. His 10-yard split was an incredible 1.46. He's a mid-round sleeper. Height: 6-1. Weight: 224. Projected 40 Time: N/A. Combine 40 Time: 4.50. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.38. Vertical: 35. Broad: 10-4. Hand: 9 1/8. Projected Round (2011): 4-6.
  8. Maybe we'll go after a guard in FA?...
  9. Out of the first 3 picks the Bears had, two of them have gone to defense. We were the 30th ranked offense last year. Spend some fricken picks on offense! It makes it worse when the positions you draft on defense (The 3rd rounder) aren't even positions of need. I would have been fine if we drafted a tall physical corner in the 3rd, but drafting a scrub safety was downright awful. Bears still need a CB, OG, and a WR. Hopefully most of these picks will be spent on the offensive end today.
  10. He's also a very important piece to our return game. Last year was his best year at safety as well. He finally started to get it. And now were probably going to let him go..

    WTF

Well that's what happens during the draft. People want the guys they think are best. We got nobody I really wanted, therefore I'm upset.
  12. Chris Harris doesn't agree with this pick.. I'll say what you really wanted to say Chris. It was a stupid pick.

    WTF

So because he was rated as being an undrafted FA, that makes my comment irrational? Awesome.
  14. Ahh well then that makes it even worse... I just find it funny how ESPN has shown video of every player drafted up to the point where we draft Conte. A CB or OG would have been great. Now we will be drafting 2 more practice squad players with our 5th and 6th while we don't have a 4th and we might as well shouldn't have had a 3rd... UGH

    WTF

This guy had a chance at being an undrafted FA. Total waste of a pick, and now we don't even have a 4th. Epic Fail job by our idiot GM.
  16. Angelo has drafted a safety 7 years in a row and hasn't hit on one yet besides Mike Brown. Funny how ESPN never even talked about him, that should say it all.
  17. I am not. Especially after this selection. I can live with the first two, but this one is laughable.
  18. Angelo does it again. Chalk this up in the bust column. Why would we have not drafted a CB or OG?
  19. Bears draft Craig Steltz 2.0. JA is an absolute moron.
  20. Bowers next to Peppers would have been epic. We could have went OL in FA if we really wanted to.. Whatever. It's over and done with.
  21. And there goes the last worthy receiver.. God damn it JA!
  22. Hankerson would be a steal!
  23. Hope he can clog up the running game for us. He's a beast in the weight room.
  24. Wow.. you have got to be kidding me.
  25. I'm gonna be pissed if it's Paea and not Greg Little!
