He had over 100 receptions 1200+ yards and 13 TD's, he's hardly just a one tool player. He's under the category of "Special" because he's all purpose and can help you on special teams. I'd take him in a heartbeat if we stand pat and falls to us at 18 (If that is indeed what we do).

Well I beg to differ. I think they are very similar

I don't even think Maclin will be available when our pick comes around so we'd have to trade up to get him. He's the only receiver other than Hayward Bay that I really want.

Which is what I see Orton becoming. Their games are very similar because neither are great deep ball throwers and they rely on the short-intermediate passing game. Kyle just hasn't learned how to do it as effective as Pennington.

The point is, having a very good WR on this team is a necessity. We need it more than anything else IMO. If you don't go after Anquan Boldin, there is the option of Chad Johnson who would have to traded for also, or TJ Housh who is a free agent but is also 32 years old (Which I don't want).

This is a very creative offense. They bring out just about every formation, the wishbone, the wildcat etc.. Their unique running style makes Chad Pennington look like a Pro Bowler when he's really just like Kyle Orton if you think about it. I wish the Bears would develop a clever offense like this, that keeps the defense on their toes. Bring that OC over here

Even though I said I wouldn't want Marinelli as the DC, I'd rather have him their then that clown Babich. I don't know how you can sell him to the team after this season. Yes Yes! Sign me up as well. If their is a single player that I want the Bears to draft its Taylor Mays. Wow he is built like an outside linebacker with the speed of a corner.. Hell, probably faster! He is a can't miss guy, and a perfect Bears type of a player. Do whatever it takes to get this kid on the team JA. PLEASE!!

I have a feeling Parcells wouldn't be a fan of Lovie Smith and if he came here he would want to do it his way. It's a pipe dream but I would love to have him on this staff.

They were able to play like that because of how dominant their defense was. They got off the field fast so the offense could eat clock and pound the rock into the endzone. And you know how they do it? It starts with the defensive line, something we don't have. We get no pressure on the quarterback which effects the DB's in the passing game and it doesn't help that we don't have a legit cover guy either. Graham and Tillman are both tacklers.

Step 2: Fire Turner and Babich

I only caught the tail end of the video but he did look pretty P.O'd to say the least. I wish he would have said something about Turner but atleast Babich seems to look like he's outta here. I don't want Marenelli as our D coordinator, I'll take him as our D line coach but that's it. He has never called plays before, and his defense in Detroit was terrible.

I think he means as of right now Orton is the starter because that's all he really can say. You can't talk about McNabb or any of those other guys because that's obviously tampering so what do you expect him to say?

Tebow is going to scare alot of people in the wildcat formation, but I see him more as a FB/TE career backup more than a starter.

okay. I'd take Orton for another year if we get some actual wide receivers around him like Jeremy Maclin, and Anquan Boldin/Chad Johnson.
