  1. God Damn It! What a wasted day, we won't even see them make a pick today. Pretty stupid trade if you ask me. Just take that WR out of Georgia and be done with it. Why trade down? Makes no sense..
  2. Ugh..... freak trading down.. Why can't they just pick someone??
  3. Damnit, Brown is now gone.. The Bears should have traded up to get him I can't believe he was still available!!
  4. I dont want to trade down, I want to see the Bears pick somebody today!
  5. Damn now Britt is gone too. I wanted him..
  6. link? I hope this isn't the dumb rumor about us trading Hester and the #2 for Boldin..
  7. So are they only doing the 1st round today and rounds 2-7 tomorrow?
  8. I feel bad for DHB, he's got to go to that awful team in Oakland. I'm sure Crabtree was shocked yet happy at the same time.

I don't want Robiskie, he's too slow for me.. Get a safety or a better suited WR.
  10. Doesn't he have diabetes?? How in the heck can he drink?
  11. That makes no sense at all.
  12. We don't need Paxico, he's not the type of player I want because he's a cancer.
  13. I want to see if Marenelli can completely change our defensive line into the best in the league. If we can do that, our defense will be dominant once again. We need one more play maker on defense, preferably at Safety to make an impact. Maybe Bowman?
  14. I wish the Bears got one of those retractable roofs so they could host a Superbowl.
  15. Is the Superbowl in Miami again??
  16. Nah Housh is 32 and on the downside of his career. I'm glad we didn't get him.
  17. I don't think Kiper was ever that much of a fan of Cutler when he was coming out was he? I can't remember. But frankly I don't give a flying F because he's the best QB we've had since Sid!!
  18. Is it September yet?! God is it even August?! I can't wait until football season right now and its still soooo long away!
  19. I think Forte gets fewer touches which is a good thing (Makes his career last a little longer) but he still gets about 1300 yards on the ground. Teams won't be able to stack the box this year because Cutler will pick apart the defense with his arm; this is especially helpful against a team like Minnesota who's pass defense is the worst in the NFL. Everyone talks about Green Bay but the Bears had a better record last year with KO, its going to be the same thing next year except we have an easier schedule to deal with. Aaron Rodgers vs Jay Cutler is a toss up, I'll give them that but were still a better team and right now I'd put us ahead of Minnesota too. Forte will have a pro bowl season next year I can almost guarantee it. His YPC will be better for reasons discussed above and because we will pass more and the focus of a teams defense will be to stop our QB which takes alot of pressure off of Matt. If we just had a Chad Johnson or a great receiver on this team, I would instantly put us atop of the NFC. We have two questions to answer this year. 1. How are receivers going to play with Cutler now as our Quarterback? 2. Can our defense get back to that elite level again? The one thing I'm skeptical about is our defense. We haven't added anybody and we lost Mike Brown. It would be really great if we could draft a stud LB or Safety that can make a huge impact. I hope Rod Mareneli will help in this area with the defensive line because that would change alot! If we can answer those to questions and we have a relatively low amount of key injuries this year, we will be in the Superbowl.
  20. Yeah I remember. Even though my thread title is what it is, I know Denver's receivers are better than the Bears but the point I'm making is that I think Cutler had more to do with it than anything, and they have a chance to improve their status as receivers in the league so we aren't talked about as one of the worst WR corp in the NFL. (This excludes Rashied Davis from the conversation because he is actually an awful receiver and should never play the position again.)
  21. Lets just see how Brandon Marshall does with Kyle Orton as Quarterback instead of Jay Cutler..
  22. I appreciate what Kyle Orton did for us last year. I mean, you might have your own opinions of him but the guy was tough as nails. He didn't have to come back early from his injury, but he did because he knew he had to if we had any shot at getting to the playoffs. I have been on record of saying I wouldn't mind Kyle as our starter next year because I believe he can be on a championship team as it's QB but he's not going to be a stat stuffer like Cutler is and he doesn't have that accuracy down field either. I feel great that we have Cutler but at the same time I'm sad for Kyle because he seemed like a great guy and I could see why his teammates were sad to see him go. I wish him the best in Denver.
