Uh actually I've heard that Rivera challenged Lovie several times throughout the year in meetings and such on how to make the defense better and Lovie got uncomfortable like a little puss and that's why he was gone.

IMHO and I hate to say this but, we all know Devin isn't the brightest of guys, and that "Primetime" is his mentor, I think he has shut it down now that he's got his money. The way he is, I don't think it's going to change because he got what he wanted. One guy doesn't make that much of a difference to go from being the greatest of all time to honestly one of the worst. Daniel Manning is gaining major yardage just about everytime he's had the chance. Have you noticed that teams aren't kicking away from Hester anymore? There's a reason for that.

Good news! I expect to see him in action Sunday. This team needs a spark. I'm really high on this kid.

Yep I agree, I'd like to see Brandon Rideau in this week's game. He can be a big play receiver, we need someone who does that besides Hester.

He gets a pass because he played hurt, that obviously affected his play. Like I said before, I'd rather have a 70% Kyle Orton starting over a 100% Rex. The Packer game was just one of those games you want to forget about. Nobody played worth a damn and it was an all around losing effort. Orton played like he did the first 1 or 2 games of the year, "Managing the game" due to his ankle.. yes It hurt our offense but having him on the field hurt tells you alot about what the staff thinks of Rex

I still wouldn't trade Hester. He's progressing as a wide receiver now, he will pay off in the end I think but he's just having a bad year special teams wise this season. He'll get over it.

The man speaks the truth. He was interviewed after the game and said "The defense isn't what it used to be, we haven't figured it out obviously because it would have been fixed by now." He's the leader of the defense and I love what he says. He was the only guy who played physical all game long, and he seems to be the only player that doesn't give vague answers. I wish we had more Mike Browns on this team..

Well you can already tell early in the game the Bears aren't stacking 8 in the box like they've always been. Trying to play better pass defense is my guess.
