The answer is. Look at the tape, then look at the offensive line, then tell me what holes you saw that Forte could run through compared to what he had going for him the first 2 weeks of the season. Matt Forte is a stud, he's going to be a super star. This isn't his fault, this is a simple case of a running back not having any holes to run through. The line is terrible which is no surprise, that's why we drafted Chris Williams.

I disagree with the article. We are using him ENOUGH! If we give him 25-30 carries each week PLUS the 5 or so touches he gets catching the ball outta the backfield, he's going to be worn down by the time December gets here. We need to limit his touches because trust me, if we have a fresh running back in December, that spells trouble for opposing defenses because we all know when the weather gets cold, you start to rely on the running game more.

Forte did everything he could to get some yards but Detroit was stacking 8-9 men in the box and our offensive line wasn't doing diddly poo but his presence was still felt seeing how he still managed to get 2 touchdowns!

I would say, the next Bears QB to make it to the pro bowl will be our franchise QB, how's that? haha

The good thing is our defense isn't worn out after the 1st half like they were a couple of weeks ago! Our offense is sustaining drives and it's paying off. In the second half I'd like to see Forte break a big one like at Indy in week 1. It's been awhile since he's done that, but that's mainly because the offensive line has gradually gotten worse each week. If you look, he has had no holes to run through over the past few games. All his yards have been ALL him, breaking tackles, quick feet to get the extra 2 yards, I mean it really has been all him and I don't like it. The line needs a spark, I hope Chris Williams can get here soon because we need help! Too many holding calls and not enough run blocking for our best offensive weapon.
