Expect all the "Experts" to pick the Saints, im somewhat glad because we get no respect so we have to prove ourselves every game. I think if we can hold them to 21 points or less we win.

But it makes sense, why would anybody run the same play everytime? Its the basis of their defense but thats not all they run. They mix it up with alot of zones with few man to man coverages.

Actually the Bears only run their cover 2 about 20 % of the time and I read that in an ESPN magazine a few weeks back. But yeah on alot of those Tillman mess ups they were in a cover two defense but Tillman should have recognized the pressure that we got on the QB and stayed in front of his man, instead he got turned around and by that time Jackson had caught a first down for about 14 yards. Tillman is not very quick but he is a big physical player that is good at bumping the recievers to throw off there timing and its up to the safeties to cover the guy deep not the corners. From my point of view it seems as if Daniel Manning has been struggling the last 4 games or so he hasnt really done anything. He gets messed up on coverages and is late alot of the time. You can only make up so much for speed but multiple times it will backfire and wind up a TD. I hear not just here but other Bears fans I know think Vasher is overated and this and that, everytime I watch a game I dont see recievers throwing Vasher's way alot of the time and that is because he has excellent coverage. Just because you don't see him mixing it up getting tackles doesnt mean he isn't doing his job. An important key to next Sunday's game is getting Brees uncomfortable. I think its a good matchup recievers vs Db's of Chicago. Why? Well because neither group has elite speed. Colston isnt really fast and either is Horn. Tillman isn't and Vasher is fast but not really fast. It will be a physical battle and I see the Bears winning this battle, however the battle doesnt just end there. We also need to focus on stopping their run and that is going to be troublesome IMO. We will have more trouble stopping the dynamic duo rather than stopping the pass. Brees will have a good game but I think our defense can hold them to 21-27 points. I think we are capable of scoring 30+ on this team if we scheme right. There not the greatest defense but they are better if they get a lead. Its imperative that we get ahead early just as we did this Seattle game. I say stick with the game plan and run the football with some play action and screens. Its going to be highscoring and should be a great game to watch. Finally my prediction... Bears win 31-24
