Any speed burners left?

Featured Replies

We may already have our KO returner on the team but wondering if any of you guys know of one that's still available.

Some names: Tevin Reese, Jared Abbrederis, Isaiah Burse. Also, I don't love him as a CB, but how about Chris Davis?

Jeff Janis 6'3" 4.37 speed, loved him at the Senior Bowl and L'Damian Washington 6'4" 4.38. Both fit the big WR mold Phil/Trestman seem to love and both have top notch speed.

I don't think it's a real need, but addind one of those guys would be realllly intriguing.

Is Herron still left, just got home.

He is, but at 5'9" I don't think he fits the mold of this offense.

Herron's still available. Also, while he's not a burner, T.J. Jones from Notre Dame has return experience and he'd fit the Bears NFL legacy theme - his uncle is Phillip Daniels and his godfather is Rocket Ishmail!

What you would use him for would be just a change of pace, he has speed.

Look for Ellington/WR South Carlina as a possible pick, he can be a returner.

Yea, but there's also guys like Jeff Janis and L'Damian Washington who have bot speed and size.

40/20/10 yard splits

Herron-4.35/2.56/1.58 5'9" 35 inch vert

Janis- 4.37/2.50/1.50 6'3" 37 inch vert

If I had to take a WR I want Jannis.

He gawn.

Also, he's not a burner, but has return experience: Jeremy Gallon. I know he's small, but I loved the way he played in college, which is hard for a Hawkeye fan to admit about a Wolverine.

Janis to the Pack, damn....Didn't really see the need, but I think he'll be a good player in a year or 2.

Tevin Reese as well

My guess is a high talent with character issues....Purifoy?
