It looked like nothing. And he walked off pretty easily. Hopefully just a minor strain or sprain. He looks like a good player so far.

Bears haven't officially said anything on Fuller. Here's the latest which doesn't sound as promising as I'd like:

The injury status of Bears rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller remains unclear.

 

The first-round pick from Virginia Tech was injured on the opening possession.

 

In a Friday afternoon news conference, coach Marc Trestman said more information on Fuller's prognosis will be available in 24 hours.

 

 

Fuller is day to day. Ankle sprain was nothing serious and didn't look like much in the replay to me.

Rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller, who suffered an ankle strain covering the opening kickoff of the Jacksonville game, also was out of practice. Both Briggs and Fuller were described by head coach Marc Trestman as “day to day.”
