He worked for John Fox as ST coach for the past four years in Denver and in 2010 in Carolina.

Jeff Rodgers enters his fourth season as special teams coordinator for the Denver Broncos in 2014 after spending the previous two years coaching that unit under Broncos Head Coach John Fox in Carolina.

In addition to his four seasons as a coordinator, he has seven years of NFL experience instructing special teams along with three years coaching at the collegiate level.

In 2013, kicker Matt Prater earned his first career Pro Bowl selection along with second-team Associated Press All-Pro honors after setting the franchise scoring record (150 pts.) and connecting on 25-of-26 (96.2%) field goals. Included in his total was a 64-yarder against Tennessee on Dec. 8, to represent the longest field goal in NFL history.

Denver special teams are a bit hard to evaluate. Mile High helps produce longer punts with great hang time, longer field goals and lots of touchbacks on KOs. I think I read that Denver had over 80 touchbacks on KOs this year. Hell, our team didn't come close to having to kick off 80 times, LOL.

So I have no idea just how good this guy is as the head honcho for STs.
