Lamarr Houston

Houston has 4 sacks since returning at the beginning of the month. Do we try to sign him for next year? Given the issues we've had at OLB, he seems like a good option.

Absolutely. I assumed when he was cut he was done for the season. Now we achieved some cap savings with the cut but bringing him back for a deal with little guarantee would be well worth it.

With a friendlier contract I am good with it. I don't think we keep McPhee and Young may not make it either. Houston, Floyd, draft pick, and probably Acho will be our 4, unless McPhee/Young look promising in camp.

I don't think there is anyway we keep McPhee unless he agrees to change his contract. He is not worth $7.5 million a year next year.
