We've been talking about his 30+ fumbles in three years of college. According to the quote below (I assume it is correct), he really hasn't had nearly as much a problem holding onto the ball as the good old internet pundits have cried. Quote One of the great myths about Caleb Williams is that he fumbles too much. In fact, there have been massive amounts of disinformation about this on the internet saying he has fumbled 30-odd times. The official number of fumbles according to the NCAA is 17 in three years: eight last year, three in 2022 and six in 2021. I will have to check it out. But if true, one less thing to worry about. I have definitely seen him running around holding the ball out too far from his body, so Im sure theyre going to work on that, but if this is true, that is good news indeed.
