Bills visit with Bryant Johnson, close to signing?

Featured Replies

no link yet, but we can scratch his name off the list...

bummer, but a real good signing by the Bills. He compliments Evans really good.

Where'd you hear this? I don't see anything.

I haven't seen or heard it either. PFT hasn't reported it and neither has buffalobills.com. Although it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he had.

this is per NFL Sirius Radio.

I found a link... so, it's not official, but all signs point to he's a Bill.

Thanks for that! I'm guessing his value skyrocketted after Berrian signed. I'm guessing Johnson said "probably" and is waiting for hear from another team (the Bears) to see if they'll up their offer.

But that ain't going to work. Angelo said, "Sobriety in the marketplace." With Briggs, there was a set number, and it never waivered. I'm guessing the same is true for Johnson.

The Bears are expected to meet with free agent Bryant Johnson this week if he makes it out of Buffalo.

It doesn't sound like he's signing with Tampa Bay. At 6'3/216, Johnson looks the part of the big receiver Buffalo wants, but doesn't really play that big. Still all these times are needy.

Free agent Bryant Johnson revealed Monday that he has a meeting scheduled with the Redskins.

It sounds like no visit with the Bears has been set up, despite multiple reports coming out of Chicago. Johnson is still at the Bills' facility and they could put on a full-court press to make sure he doesn't leave Buffalo.
