Bush for Wayne

Featured Replies

Just got a quick question for you guys...

Right now I have the opportunity to trade Reggie Wayne for Reggie Bush. Now, I need a RB (I know he's hurt, but will wait 2-3 weeks for him as I'm currently 6-2 in my league), and still have Larry Fitzgerald, Dwayne Bowe, Donnie Avery, Devin Hester, and Steve Breaston at WR. And only 2 WR spots to play each week.

So, would you do the trade if it meant your lineup will look like this in about 3-4 weeks when play-off time hits?

QB- Cutler/Delhomme

RB- Portis

RB- Forte

RB/WR- Bush

WR- Fitzgerald

WR- Bowe/Avery

TE- Winslow

DEF- Eagles

K- Gould

Bush is kick butt in leagues that give RBs receiving yards AND point per reception.

If your league scores this way, I say definately yes, he would be a big plus for you in the playoffs. Now this is assuming you are confident you will be ok over the next few weeks while waiting for his return.

You certainly seem fine atr WR.

Alright, thanks. I asked a couple friends as well, and they all liked it, so I just accepted the trade.

I do get 1 point every 10 receiving yards, but not points per reception. Still, for being my flex player, I think Bush is pretty darn good option.
