Jaguars @ Bears 12-7-08

Featured Replies

Only a 4 man rush and Idonjie actually gets the tipped ball.

Three points is better than a TD for the Jags on the next play, ala Minny. But It really sticks in my craw that we can't punch it in when we get down to the 5 yrd line. No push from the Oline in these short situations.

Woo, lets give carries to AP but not KJ.

Gotta love the suckiness of the offense. Can't even get a touchdown when you start on the 20 yard line. Instead you get 2 negative plays in a row.. Wow.

I agree with Dierdorf, the Bears playing surface needs to be changed to artificial turf. This slipping crap has been going on for too long, its annoying. Fix the damn field!

LOL Rashied Davis is the most pathetic piece of crap receiver in the NFL. Please stop playing this goon!

Couldn't agree more. If Lovie & Co. ever thought he was going to be a no. 1 or 2 WR, they are no judges of talent.

Amen!

This game is making it painfully obvious we need some legit WRs. Having Davis on the field so much is scary.

LOLz, hell of a pass Orton.

LOLz, hell of a pass Orton.

Yeah that wasn't a good one.

It seems to me that he has had trouble putting air under the deep ball after his injury.

I hope he gets that fixed.

This isn't Orton's fault.

Of course it isn't. Orton never does anything wrong.

Total yards of offense in the 3rd quarter: 15. -_-

Jesus, I think I'm going to go to sleep. This offense is horrendous. Forte has to do everything!

Oh, and STOP SMILING OLIN YOU JUST COST THE TEAM A FIRST DOWN!

Damnit, now the Vikings won and got lucky I might add. They deserved to lose that game, and its ridiculous how steroid's boys got to play in the game..

this game is a perfect example of no killer instinct. We jump out to a 20-3 lead and go into hibernation at halftime and it takes us giving up the TD after several half hearted efforts before we start to try and get aggressive again on offense. It's not a light switch that you just turn on or off at will. When you pack it in on offense the way we did in the second half it's very difficult to find a rhythm again. Plus while you struggle it gives them confidence to keep fighting. We should have come out of the gate in the second half and stomped on them there there would be no chance of coming back. We did the same thing against the Lambs. We jump out to a lead and get complacent almost like we think they won't catch up. How many times does this strategy have to bite us before we learn. We got away with it in S. Louis, and today but. Because those teams just plain suck. In this game mercy will get you no where, when you have a team on the ropes finish them off.

I'm real happy I was wrong!

Bears 17 - Jags 24

It is a game we should win, but coaching staff will not have the team ready to do so...
