HOW BOUT THOSE IRISH

Records set, streak ended, over .500

Hopefully we can build on that for 09

great effort from the Irish. What i liked about the game was that most of the soph and fresh were on the field making plays. with another great class coming in, i think we will start seeing some good things come from these excellent recruiting classes charlie has put together.

This sums up their season nicely when winning the Hawaii Bowl to break 500 is good news.

Yes it does, not a great season. BUT a win is a win & a winning record is a winning record.

It's irrelevant that we only beat Hawaii in the Hawaii bowl, what is relevant is we beat a team with a winning record on the road & ended that streak. Some nice young players & some hope for next season

I'm biased but after winning just 3 games last year. I'll take a winning season that includes a bowl win.

The play of the under-classmen was very impressive and I'm optomistic about the 09 season.

With another good recruiting class things could get a lot better.

I know the best RB in San Diego county Tyler Gaffney has narrowed his choices to

ND, USC and Stanford. The kid is the goods and could really help the Irish running game.
