BUT a win is a win & a winning record is a winning record. It's irrelevant that we only beat Hawaii in the Hawaii bowl, what is relevant is we beat a team with a winning record on the road & ended that streak. Some nice young players & some hope for next season Report
January 3, 200917 yr comment_55810 I'm biased but after winning just 3 games last year. I'll take a winning season that includes a bowl win. The play of the under-classmen was very impressive and I'm optomistic about the 09 season. With another good recruiting class things could get a lot better. I know the best RB in San Diego county Tyler Gaffney has narrowed his choices to ND, USC and Stanford. The kid is the goods and could really help the Irish running game. Report
